EARTHBOUND 2025

Soil & water – the sensuous fundaments for life

EARTHBOUND 2025 is an interdisciplinary symposium that weaves together art and science to reimagine how we humans relate to the world. This year's theme—soil and water—invites participants to reflect on our sensuous relationships with these elements and explore feminist knowledge in the face of climate emergency.

Breaking away from traditional symposium formats, EARTHBOUND is centered around knowledge sharing and co-creation in one durational event that engages both intellect and senses.

The program consists of keynote speakers, workshops, debates, performance excerpts, rituals and sharing sessions.

The program will be in English.

The ticket includes vegan meals and the possibility to use our shuttle bus (between Aarhus and Himmelbjerggården)

KEYNOTE
by Minna Salami

How can we reimagine knowledge in a time of ecological and epistemic crisis?

Minna Salami will introduce The Kaleidoscopic Method: a way of thinking that embraces multiplicity and interconnectedness. Here, knowledge is not treated as a fixed destination, but as a patterned unfolding like the turn of a kaleidoscope.

Her session invites participants to attune to the elemental intelligences of soil and water, weaving intellectual reflection with participatory and sensory inquiry.
